Engineering, supply and installation of a hull-mounted ADCP system on a drillship, with a multi-discipline team mobilised to the Caribbean.
The acoustic current profiler had to be replaced on a working unit at a remote location: through-hull interfaces, cabling routes and integration with the bridge and DP systems all had to be engineered before anyone travelled, and the crew needed the right certificates, visas and logistics for an offshore mobilisation.
Exalit delivered the engineering package and material supply ahead of the visit, then mobilised a multi-discipline team — riggers, electrical, mechanical and a site lead — with the installation sequence agreed with the vessel in advance.
Engineering and procurement are complete and the team mobilises to site in the current quarter.
